a love letter from me to you

A behind-the-scenes photo from my Candy Magazine photoshoot that should have, um, been posted 2 days ago

As you may have noticed, my already-sparse post frequency has been dwindling to er, nothing… and I feel like I owe you an apology and an explanation. I love seeing your reactions to my posts (note: not the actual blogging bit), but I’ve been focusing on my top priority at the moment-

Hold on, it’s clear that I’m a photographer right??

In between that, this blog, trying to design, market, and run a label out of my room, and well, real life, it’s obvious that I have an awful habit of multitasking. I want to focus and do each of these things well, rather than spread myself thinner (although if that makes me physically thinner i guess that would be ok right why not)

I haven’t actually blogged about fashion /fashion/ in ages and I get so awkward and shy (paiseh) when people refer to me as a “fashion blogger”, i mean, first of all do I even blog regularly, secondly, does my blog even qualify I mean what is it even

I’m doing so many exciting photoshoots and having such a good time being a workaholic (does this qualify as a problem with a capital P?) that I want to document everything and share it with you! Problem is… I can’t actually share anything until the images are published, and there’s usually at least a 2 month break in between the process.

Although I’m going to update as much as I can, what I’m trying to say is that things are going to be slow around here …until May. May will be worth reading about, trust me.

In the meantime, please don’t forget about me!! Thank you for supporting me, for reading my junk, and er, giving a shit. #eloquent

I lav you so please keep in touch on Instagram at @lenneigh, or on the Facebook page!! I’m not going anywhere (yet) x

i think you’re being too hard on yourself. you have a busy schedule and a life outside of the internet and your readers understand that. we’re not going to come after you for posting things two days “late” (late by whose standards anyways??). i find it’s easier to do things when i sit down with myself and make a schedule. agree with yourself how often you want to post, and be realistic with yourself. if twice a month is what you can manage then just do that. it’ll help you stick to a regular schedule and help you avoid guilt that you aren’t posting “enough” (again by whose standards).

good luck honey boo boo child.
