Video: Elite Model Look 2011

Feb 9 / 8:10pm

There's Kylie, "horned" dancers, young girls with blank expressions, an array of sparkly things (this includes a Twilight vampire), and too many awkward pauses. Am I the only person who finds "Model Pageants" strange?

That said, Singapore's representative Fiona Fussi is surprisingly pretty! I can't believe she's only 15. It's so awfully rare to see a Singaporean girl who can model for high fashion.

Inspiration: Eriko Nakao

Jan 24 / 5:00am
Media_http4bpblogspot_aidtw

Hello! It's 5am and I can't sleep.

Losing my phone has turned into a festive tradition that I can't seem to break away from, and this lunar new year is no exception. Backing up contacts and reporting the loss have become familiar routines, so thank goodness for that at least.

I'm stalking a girl on the internet to pass the time, and um, proclaiming it to the World Wide Web I guess. I don't know anything about Eriko Nakao, except that she models for her friends, and appears to prefer red eyeshadow. Maggus told me about her recently, and I've been obsessing over her "secretly"1 ever since.

Sen Me A Sign

Sencollage

Sen Mitsuji (23) is a Japanese/Australian model who once drove a truck while he studied psychology in university. He was discovered "smelly and sweaty" after an MGMT concert in Shibuya.

...I have no words. Cool just isn't cool enough. Maybe a hipster trangle will suffice? ▲

First Heartbreak

Aug 16 / 9:32pm

We were at a heartland mall the other day, and we came across one of those Burberry 'The Beat' ads that practically catapulted Agyness Deyn to fame (in Singapore, anyway). I guess 2008 wasn't that long ago, but that's like what, 10 years in fashion time? Finding that ad still installed in the store, billboard-style, almost felt like an archaeological discovery.

It made me wonder what in the world happened to her anyway?, and I guess my answer arrived in the form of a video.

So, go on. Tell me about your first time.
